At MCCSF, we serve an open communion, regardless of individual religious background or affiliation. We’ve married same-sex couples since 1971 and we support full marriage equality for same-gender couples and honor all commitments of love.
MCC is a church that believes that God loves us all, and that there is a place for everyone…a place where you are welcomed, celebrated and supported spiritually.
MCC San Francisco is a member congregation of the Metropolitan Community Churches, an international denomination that embraces lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgender persons, along with our families, friends, and advocates.
1300 Polk St (at Bush St) is directly in front of Muni bus route 19 and two short blocks from the Van Ness end of the California Street Cable Car line. We are within three blocks from several other Muni bus routes: 2, 3, 4, 38, 42, 45, 47, 49.
