Our church family is stepping out in faith to return to our roots. The Homecoming Fund is a dedicated initiative to raise $360,000 to build a strong foundation for re-establishing our home in The Castro.
Re-establishing our presence there will allow us to deepen our roots, expand our outreach, and serve as an open, welcoming light in the community. Contributions to this fund will directly cover the expenses associated with relocating, securing and paying 2 to 3 years of rent on a space, and supporting our ongoing ministry and programs once we are settled back in The Castro.
● Target Goal: $360,000 over 3 years
● Fund Purpose: Moving expenses, 2 to 3 years of lease/rent costs, and general operational and ministry support in The Castro after relocation
● Timeline: December 31, 2029
Stewardship Policy: Contributions to the Homecoming Fund are designated to support relocating, leasing a facility, and sustaining our ministry presence in The Castro after relocation. If the $360,000 goal has not been met by December 31, 2029, the MCCSF Board of Directors reserves the right, at its discretion, to reallocate accumulated contributions to the church’s General Operating Fund to support overall ministry needs.
