Vision and Mission

MCCSF Mission and Vision Statement, Unanimously Approved at December 4, 2022 Congregational MeetingĀ

Who we are: We are a community of LGBTQ+ people coming from all walks of life. Many of us have been hurt by the faith communities of our past and are seeking healing. We seek, individually and communally, to follow the way of love and healing taught by Jesus before the church became an institution. We seek to become better reflections of this Divine love as we grow and are transformed by that love.

MCCSF Vision: We envision a world where everyone, without exception, knows that they are loved by God, and are healed and transformed by that knowledge and experience of love.

MCCSF Mission: Our mission is to bring this message and experience of unconditional love and acceptance to the LGBTQ+ community in San Francisco and throughout the world. We hope to be conduits of God’s healing and transformative love among our siblings in the LGBTQ+ community and beyond.
