Opportunities for Volunteers

Generosity comes not just in the form of financial resources, but in time, talent and labor. Volunteer service allows people to meet others, deepen their connection to the community, and contribute to the greater good for all.  There are a multitude of opportunities to help ensure the smooth operation of our church and community home. Are there areas in which you feel you are being called to serve? Do you have an hour or two out of your week to give us a hand?

We welcome volunteers

We are trying to build a robust and diverse community so, whatever your background, whether you are able to contribute financially or not, we welcome you to share your time and talents with MCCSF.  We do our best to help you develop your volunteer role with us by training, supervising and supporting our volunteers. We ask that volunteers perform your volunteer role to the best of your ability; be easy to reach, responsive and timely in communications, maintain confidentiality, and meet mutually agreed time commitments, or give notice if this is not possible.

Please call us or text us at 415.863.4434 or contact us via email at admin@mccsf.org and let us know how you would like to be involved here at MCCSF.

I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

— Mahatma Gandhi

Everyone can be great because anyone can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t even have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve… You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love…

— Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
