Church Membership is Open to All!
Welcome! We are a dynamic, diverse and loving congregation, and we are glad you found us.
Have you been thinking about becoming a member or curious about all that makes up MCCSF our history, Core Values, Mission, and Vision?
Would you like to become a Member of MCCSF?
Although all people are welcome to worship and even be involved in ministry, unlike some churches, one does not automatically become a member at MCCSF just by attending. One requirement is attending a class of inquiry. This Membership Class does NOT obligate one to join, but it is a space to learn, ask questions, meet others doing the same. Membership involves a commitment to support the church with one’s time, talent and treasure, and provides the ability to participate more fully in the life of the congregation by voting at Congregational Meetings. Members may also run for the Board of Directors or as a Lay Delegate. Members support the mission, vision and core values of our church.
Are you ready to explore the next step in your faith journey? If you’ve found your spiritual home at MCCSF, we hope you will make it official and become a member of our beloved community. Please contact our Interim Pastor Daniel Borysewicz to schedule a meeting and discuss next steps. It is an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn about our church and our denomination and decide whether you would like to become a part of this spiritual community.
To better acquaint yourself with the church, we recommend the following.
- Subscribe to our weekly newsletter.
- Visit with and ask questions of members or clergy.
- Get involved. You don’t need to be a member to participate in one of our many groups or committees. Volunteering, attending events, or helping out behind the scenes is a great way to meet members and learn about our church.
- We also encourage all prospective members and members alike to review the bylaws by which we all subscribe.
